Seems I've been a little lax about writing lately.
I'm still promoting the healthier coffee, healthier juice,
helps to marketing and several programs to help promote.
Seems everything takes time & its the busy Christmas
season.
My dogs enjoy playing (briefly) in the snow & bringing
it all inside -- including to the bed if I don't catch them
in time. While I was drying one this AM the other ran
into the bedroom and jumped on the bed!!
There was a 14 inch snow drift in my driveway this morning.
I couldn't lift first shovelful, or keep snowblower going
beyond the first turn, so will let the young man I call for
miscellaneous help around here do that.

Now to beleaguer an article I once read about the educational
system not teaching financial preparedness.
True, we need doctors,nurses, lawyers, teachers and engineers.
But somehow at present , many of the home businesses - using

pay much better toward building one's ultimate wealth.
Someone really does have to finance hospitals, charities and
other operations.
-- Too bad more aren't exposed to "Acres of Diamonds", "Think and

On Inspiration, Travel and More

Georgia Jenkins is not the independent world traveller some feature to be.
At present I am about 130 miles from home checking out surrounds of time share week we own.
It is wonderful to find libraries where one has free use of computer -- to keep in touch with business and contacts, or the emails would be swamped.
One thing I could advise -- is taking all passwords with you if you don't have a laptop.Also investigate need for cookies on sites, as it is hard to get into same without them.
Though some vacation areas are within 50 miles of big cities ( Chicago, for instance) it is hare just to stay in contact via cell phone. --Best to check that ahead if physically possible.
Contacts at restaurants, gas stations -- and ever libraries can be helpful to the
coffee business and perhaps others -- though people not necessarily interested in their health.

More Learning about "School of hard Knocks"

Did you ever try to sell to someone who was "down and Out"? - Not a pretty sight
In the Healthier Coffee business, I approached about 5 restaurants that had phone numbers disconnected.
Then there was the one I"m trying to groom for the business --one way or other - who has a cute little restaurant at corner of busy highway. Trouble is -- everyone speeds by, and the owner has a big sign higher that her roof plus van along side with name printed. Can't even maintain advertising. I donated some of product for her to try. A suggestion was made re. car wash, but neighbors say no water pressure from private wells in area.
AND after 2 phone contacts and visits, her phone was cut off!
Gas prices don't help my continuing communication!!

Life's Changing Lessons

At "kick off" home party last week, I had one person early and 2 late -- the conservative type, who enjoyed chance to visit. No one volunteered to buy more than 2 packs.
Restaurants can seem very enthused until they need to commit, then seldom have a dollar. One emphatically proved it. I was encouraged to give enough sample for her to share 2 full pots with customers. I took it by at just past noon on today : Saturday. There was no one in building except a friend or family member who did not speak English.It was a beautiful little shop! - sure hope she makes it.

Healhier Coffee Day!

This Thursday, June 12, the group I am in --Purple Cowboy marketing is promoting Organo Gold - new to this country, though other forms of gano lucidem have been available.

More Focussing In

We have now been asked to devise a story to present a desired benefit of our program. This task is more easily said than done. I my story I should have seen a decided difference in my life from trying the product. All I can see so far is a slight difference in taste and more late night energy -- when I didn't ask for it; but was just feeling better after a cold.
Longed trial period and longer focus on creativity is clearly georgia's focus for the week.

Have Decided

As I said, my dogs are more active than I am at times, or just want to get in the way.
Does anyone have any commentary of efficacy of decreasing a pack by one after 5 years?
I plan to try to sell my eldest (cocker spaniel - who ofter runs the other way when I call-- except if it is to eat; refuses to go out in bad weather, and gets in front of me whenever I try to walk anywhere.Putting ad in Rockford paper over weekend.Danielle and Giggles (M) will miss her, as will Georgia Jenkins, but will get more done.
Other needed info. : How does one work with a sticky computer? i often will be surfing for cash and find the counter goes off and unable to get back into frame without re-starting. That , too takes a lot of time.

Tonight's Discussion

We spent more time with the Leadership book tonight. The chapter dealt with how persons dealing with different personalities can realize some are introverted, some "see the big picture" and some decide based on their intuition. There is room for all in an organization.
One must focus on a relationship with each before trying to persuade them to join, buy -- or change. More will respond to love than to features.

The Unexpected

Georgia heard some things she didn't want to today. its not only political and health card groups that have in-fighting and dirty tricks played on outgoing leadership persons.
Even churches have their quirks. A good friend of mine shared some bad experiences tonight. It saddened me because I had all respect fo staff and deacons involved.
One thinsg to be learned-- not to " judge a book by its cover".
We tend too much to think -- in a people business, beverage business or any -- that fairness, level headedness and willingness to negotiate are part and parcell of "professionalism". 'tain't necessarily so'!.
We are encouraged in network marketing to ask questions about many things to see if a person willfit into our organization. Let me clue you -- this is necessary in all walks of life.
At least we have the freedom to choose soundness in an organization ( home business) we belong to.

Doglover's Comment on Article in May 1 Paper

My dogs "could care less" about the economy - as long as they are fed each day -- whenever they see me eating.
Meanwhile, I saw an article about our slow economy - which , thankfully - had not reached the classic definition of a recession,- which is "retraction of economy. It's in a rut, but, perhaps the enthusiasm of many networkers has been harnessed in maintaining the modest growth.
if I would market my house, i still hope to be able to waith out this "slow trend" cited.
Why does everyone follow negative leaders?We are encouraged in "Purple Cowboys"== as well as other groups I've been in to always be positive!!

As I, Georgia Jenkins, sat here trying to find a blog I could respond to -- while my dogs lie at my feet,not chewing pens and papers for once -- I got on a teammate's blog about the book I was describing earlier - called " Remarkable Leadership".
He also described a movie on Googling and the idea of checking out other people by your name.
Blogs can popularize a person, and I found one of my own responses posted on Page 9. meanwhile I discovered one night nurse in NY - of different descent and more noted for her kindness; and one in Detroit. All other references dealt with other first name and someone in the state of Georgia. In networking years ago, I happened across one in Canada.
If one is to brand themselves or product, I'm wondering how to avoid getting mixed with your namesake. Any ideas?
My views on life differ markedly from yet another, who is a mystic from UK who specializes in tarot cards.

Update on Dogs and Reality

Once again , it has been raining. Whenever there's a rumble of thunder, my dogs bark. Fortunately they got outside before it started to pour this time!
